Colorado Day 2 - Hiking Mount Baldy...

Today we went hiking on Mount Baldy in Colorado.   We hiked over 7 miles and got to see an incredible view of ten-mile range.  We had a picnic next to an old gold mine.  We found gold! We saw a big waterfall and we climbed up really high to try and find where it started.  It was so beautiful. If you go there, you should not only stay on the paths, but explore all of God's world and beauty away from the man-made trails.

We followed this river until we got to the waterfall.

I had a great time with my family.  We hiked the whole trail, even though it was a little tough at times!

This is Ten- Mile Range. It is much more amazing in person than in a picture. You should hike Baldy to see it!

I love soft moss!
This is the waterfall we hiked up - it was not a path, but we made our way through so we could explore.  This was the best part of the day.

  1. I love the moss. Look for fairy houses, I think they might like to live there.
