Today we hiked to Mohawk Lake. It was our farthest and hardest hike yet, but it was the most beautiful! Once we got to the top of the main trail, we just kept going to the three upper lakes. It looked like the Sound of Music. At the top there were trout jumping out of the stream!
This may look nice and flat, but we hiked 4 miles up a steep mountain to get here!
A rain storm popped up and we had to hunker down.

ReplyDeleteY'all have seen some beautiful scenery. Glad you've taken pictures for us to enjoy since most of us will never go there. Wish I could go try to catch a trout.
